Crochet Minecraft Creeper by meekssandygirl Crochet Minecraft Creeper by meekssandygirl
It's a Creeper from Minecraft! My 15 yr old son asked me to create this, as he is a big fan of the game!

Is this easy to crochet.  I'm a knitter and haven't really done much crochet...  It looks great and would like to make it for my grandson...  How can I get the pattern?  Heather

Hello! I bought your Creeper pattern and finally made my own Creeper! I posted him on my dA page. He's not nearly as good as yours, but he turned out very well thanks to your terrific pattern!

That's amazing. I had a go at crocheting one too (without a pattern) and it turned out pretty good. With that said, how do you sew the face? (I kind of....managed)

Ha! I embroidered the face on with yarn and a needle, and it took some time for sure, but it turned out well :)

I did the same; used some yarn needles (extra big needle heads and blunt) it left some parts uncovered, but it'll do for my first one. Thanks :D

This is lovely and epic. I love how you got the green variegation in the yarn! Can I ask what brand it is/where you snagged it??

Hey thanks! I actually blended the yarn myself, I used recycled 2 ply cashmere which is very fine, and rewound it to get the correct color combination. I used cream, kelly green, grass green, and celery green. You could do the same thing with embroidery floss :)

How did you got it so cornered like that? My crocheted cubes look a bit round when I'm stuffing them.
